Hi!
I'm thatqueerautisticvegan aka kind aka Sarah (they/them). I have been vegan since 2017. I am late-diagnosed autistic and mentally ill. I am also nonbinary and bisexual. I am a lifelong atheist living in the US Bible Belt. My background has helped me understand the interconnections among various forms of oppression.
I am white, able-bodied, American, and financially secure (though I used to be poor), so in the areas where my privilege may cause blind spots, I look to people with experiences that are different from mine for guidance and understanding.
I live with my wife and our dog and cat companions. I also stream video game playthroughs under the name kindtoeverykind on Twitch, if you ever feel like popping in over there. I enjoy video games, music, and manga/anime in my spare time.

For my BA I double-majored in Philosophy and Religious Studies with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.
I am currently working towards my MA in Religious Studies. My thesis will bring elements of Critical Animal Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies to some Hebrew Bible hermeneutics.
Future Education
Lived Experience
If I pursue a PhD, I would like it to be in the field of Animal Studies, but we shall see how things go.
I look to my own as well as others’ lived experiences for further knowledge.
